𝟓 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰: 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞/𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
this was probably the biggest learning curve for myself for many people I know. that means I had to work really hard at it and learned a thing or two along the way.
𝟏. 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫.
sure, they’re fun to customize. but if you’re anything like me, you can lose it, spill on it, or any number of things.
personally, I recommend google calendar. it’s easy to personalize and organize- as well as sync with your apple calendar. plus- the iphone app rocks.
𝟐. 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡.
priority tetrad: sleep, exercise, nutrition, and self-awareness.
you will have so much more energy, more productivity, and save time by taking care of yourself. not only on a day to day basis but you will save time not being ill, money, and your sanity.
𝟑. 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭.
sometimes, being type A can be really hard and draining. you need time to socialize, we’re social as human beings. you need it, and there is nothing wrong with a break.
work and classes/studying should be the first things in your calendar. you then plan smaller things such as doctors appointments, errands, and meal prepping.
𝟓. 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩.
speaking of which, save yourself time by having a 𝘚𝘌𝘛 time each week to meal prep.
