I can empathize with the fear of rejection, disappointment, etc when it comes to being vulnerable. But it’s important to understand what it’s costing you when you choose to fight being exposed to pain.
Love is only possible in the same direct proportion that you’re exposed to the hazard of pain. It’s nerve racking, intimidating, and scary, but that’s where all the magic lies. Yes, pain is possible, but that’s the rush that let’s you know you’re living with intention and purpose.
Don’t let fear and past hurts keep you from living and loving fully today. Your demons of fear only win if they can keep you in a place where you live by their POV instead of a lense of love.
