Welcome to my basement workouts y’all
Attempted filming parts of my workout today and will figure out how to do this more!
Since I’m on furlough at work, essentially unemployed until this whole thing blows over, not bringing in a paycheck my anxiety and head has been all over the place the last 2 weeks. On top of that, spent the better part of this last week on the couch sick with a bit of a cold (not the rona) so now I’m sick of sitting around and need to establish a routine!
Getting outside everyday when I can is part of this. I took about a 20 minute mile and a half walk then came down to do some weights.
I only have 10lb & 5lb dumbbells at home, a yoga ball, & some resistance bands here. NO fancy cardio equipment. Just my basement. My goal isn’t to burn myself out everyday but just to move my body, give myself something to do, and keep me sane.
You’ll also see my groutfits for the foreseeable future 😂 I’ve got a few friends that we’re checking in on each other, doing the same workouts and just trying to take this thing one day at a time.
For anyone else who’s missing the gym, routine, people, their sanity I challenge you to make a routine and get your body moving! I felt so much better after I worked out today.
