It is always an appropriate time to dive into God's #scriptures
, but there has never been a more appropriate time as now, during this period of #uncertainty
that we are going through, God's doctrine, #important
more than ever, his doctrine is important to daily living, God's doctrine, it's important for our #salvation
, we must firmly grasp hold doctrine, don't turn it loose, understanding the #doctrine
of God you will understand and not undervalue it, to what degree we need to be thanking God for his "mercy" we owe God, greatly, lots of #appreciation
for "God's mercy" as we are in a crisis.
Psalm 51, 1-4,
"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your loving kindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies....
It goes in to say, "Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me of my sin.
Finally the verses of scripture say,
"For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight---that you may be found just when you speak, and blameless when you judge".....
Have mercy on me a #sinner is the focus, sin causes one not to feel clean, that is why verses of scripture use "clean" the word #clean, cleansing of sin through the blood #forgiveness #sin within and outwardly, cleaning and washing is with the precious blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ, Lord.
Acknowledging sin, forgiven by the washing of the blood of the lamb.
Psalm 51:4, David knows that God is the one who judges when we sin against God, #reconciliation #repentance #confession of one's #transgressions, needed.
We are under God's care, he shows compassionate, tender mercy, kindness to his people, is understanding, forgiving when dealing with us, God "is merciful" he "has mercy on" and God "shows mercy towards" God has and shows,
#mercy #compassion #pity
God shows mercy towards us.
God has #shown mercy among all kinds of people, he's helped.
Faith produces compassion, acts of mercy, #have and #show the same as #Jesus #Christ
May God bless you!
