Memoir from Isolation, p.1. I am bad at posting words, stories, and explanations on my page. But there's a reason behind that: I don't normally like to title my photos as it puts the idea behind it into the viewers' mind. I like to let the viewer find thier own story or meaning in a piece of work. And, I'm just more visual in general. And many are writing inspirational things and such, but I like to remind myself that as a photographer, my duty is to observe and share a story without any real bias while melting my personal feelings into it subtly, and nothing more.
I have seen so many being creative during these crazy days of being on a shelter-in-place to stay safe from the virus. Me -- I have been stressed, drained, and down right pouty about having to delay portrait work and having to stay in my apartment.
The other day a friend, I believe, at this point, I can call him a friend, who also is a photographer reminded me that it's not that bad, and I could in fact just shoot without a real purpose - just to shoot and study the light regardless of the subject. So today, I got up and decided it's time to stop worrying about the day job and hold my camera His work is awesome. See @evanrsanders
Thanks Evan! 😊. And I hope everyone out there is safe & healthy!
